Praises:

We drove across the country for the first time with no problems.

Enjoyed getting to know the people at the All Points Baptist Missionary School.

Prayer Requests:

Safety on the road and that we can be a blessing wherever we go.

A Major Change

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:18

I’ve often joked about how my family of seven is a battleship and not a jet ski; we don’t turn on a dime but once we get going there’s a lot of momentum behind us.  God worked on my heart about PNG for years, and finally called me in 2023.  About a year and a half later, we are situated now to begin full-time deputation in August of this year!  Most of what we own has been sold or given away, our house has been rented out, our motorhome is locked and loaded, and now as a family we are eager to pursue the course that God has put before us.

All Points Baptist Mission AMCT

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”  Ecclesiastes 4:9

We are so blessed to be sent out of Harvest Baptist Church and to be assisted by All Points Baptist Mission!  The annual AMCT conference was such a help and encouragement to us. We truly felt loved and accepted and are so encouraged to partner with APBM. The last day of the conference was June 27th, and things are going very well as I am actively reaching out to setup meetings.

Bible Thought: God’s Providential Hand

“The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.”  Psalm 145:15

I’d like to just take a moment to thank God for His continual working in me and my family’s life.  Open door after open door, God has been a constant friend and guide to me.  When God began the process of calling me, He used the momentum of my daily Christian life to lead each step of the way.  As much as I wanted to see the long road ahead, God usually just showed me a few feet in front of me and everything else was fog.  With each step, some of the fog dissipated – but each step required some faith.  I’d like to encourage you to trust the leading of God in your life and take those small steps when God puts them in front of you!

Looking Forward

“A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”  Proverbs 18:24

Please pray that the Lord will keep us safe on the roads as we travel, and for us to see the doors He opens for us.  In this stage of our ministry our sincere heart’s desire is to be a blessing to others.  If we are able to do that I know God will take care of us like He always has in the past.

Sincerely,

Rick Schworer
